UNO, New Orleans

In 2023 I had a solo exhibition at UNO gallery, New Orleans titled "When News Hit Shore", a quote from the 'toast' "Shine and the Titanic". I had produced 24 montages from photos in two books on the Titanic as well as numerous other books on related topics. The montages are created by cutting straight lines into the photos rather than cutting around things depicted within photos. Each cut, then, brings two images and two worlds together like two scenes in the cinema.
